Hermès Kelly Pluch Bag

pluch-kelly-handbagsoutlet.bizpluch-kelly-handbagsoutlet.biz

The color and fur edges of this bag are fantastic for winter days. The material differs from other shinny leathers, which is very cozy and pleasant to look at.

It feels warm. If I go skiing I will bring this bag with me.

The brown leather and the white fur show the taste of this bag. The spacious design makes it the favorite for many office ladies. Its heavy luxury touch and warm handle heat up the winter.

This lovely Kelly Pluch is designed by Jean Paul Gaultier chief designer of Hermes in the autumn and winter of 2005. The prototype can trace back to the Kelly Bag of Hermes in early time. Inheriting the grace of the traditional one it is mended in shape and becomes the new lover for young ladies.

You can find it on handbagsoutlet.biz.

givenchy_medium_leather_tote.jpg

You’re all Bag Snobs so you know what I’m talking about – you see a girl and your judgment of her is entirely based on the bag she has on. Come on, admit it, a skank suddenly becomes chic when you notice her Givenchy. Yesterday I was at the physical therapist’s office and I heard this annoying yapping girl in with the doctor. When she walked into the waiting room I was further assaulted by her over processed hair. But it all changed when I saw her Givenchy Sacca – I shrugged and gave her a reprieve. This new Givenchy wasn’t what she had but it would have warranted the same response. I do not like the new bedazzled Givenchy but this amazingly understated tote with wrapped chain is dreamy and in my favorite 80’s color, mauve!! At My Theresa for 82.

Where else but in Las Vegas would you find the perfect New Year’s Eve bag to rock the night away with? YSL Downtown is the cult classic loved by bag snobs (Kelly and I each have one!) and this little lovely almost came home with me the other day (until I remembered our plans are to stay home with the little one). It’s the mini version of the beloved tote in gorgeous sparkling sequins in shades of chocolate and decadent gold. Best part is It’s heavily discounted down to 9. At roughly 10×11″ it’s the perfect size to tote out for a big evening. I like to have my camera with me on New Year’s eve and most clutches just don’t have the room. And come midnight when your running around grabbing hot guys to smooch, this will dangle from your arm leaving both hands free (nothing wrong with double fisting over New Year’s eve :) ). At YSL Las Vegas, call 702-737-3003 to order. Happy New Year!

Samantha from The City.jpgHarlow_saddle.jpg
Please excuse the photograph above for being a little bit blurry, but it’s straight from the set of “The City.” Samantha, Whitney’s trusty sidekick is posing in the Bryna Nicole Harlow Bag (0, Jessica Szhor has also been photographed in this bag) which is a boxy medium-sized leather bag that is sold in a variety of colors. The strap is detachable so it can double as a large clutch and the gold buttons give it the versatility to go from day-to-night. It’s also got 4 pockets (2 interior and 2 exterior) which makes it practical for the cold weather when you’re looking for things in a hurry. Aesthetically the bag doesn’t blow me over, but it’s got that downtown, laid-back, quick-and-easy vibe that a lot of 20-somethings in NYC are into these days. Bryna Nicole is a relative new comer to the handbag scene. She started her label in 2006 and is based in San Fran, but the label is rapidity expanding and a shoe line is already slated for 2011!

Do you own any Bryna Nicole bags? What do you think of Samantha’s — Snob or Slob?

pass1.jpgFeeling a bit cooped up after five days with the family? Dreaming of escaping the grey skies and heading out somewhere sunny? If so, you can have an awful lot of fun dressing up your passport, even if it’s likely to be grounded for at least the next few weeks… Shown above is ‘First Class’, £9.95 at What’s About Town, and Anne Taintor’s ‘we all have our baggage’ cover, £7.50 in the House of Fraser sale.

It’s been a busy year blogging about bags and now we’ve come to the end of 2009 so we decided to compile a list of the top 9 bags of 2009. In no particular order are the bags that made us swoon, drool, and whip out those credit cards and shop! Check them out below and share your favorite bags of the year!
Handbag du Jour Top 9 bags of 2009 of the year Jimmy Choo Mandah Hobo YSL Easy Studded Y Bag Alexander Wang Coco Duffel Kooba Alex Tote Alexander McQueen Faithful Glove Clutch Chloé Paraty Python Tote Valentino Shining Flower Tux 360 Tote Rebecca Minkoff Stud Devote Belted Tote Novella Royale Mister Studded Tote
1. Jimmy Choo Mandah Hobo
All the girls carried the Jimmy Choo ‘Mandah’ Hobo BagJimmy Choo Mandah. Halle, J Lo. and Jessica Alba were fans of this smooth calfskin leather and suede bag in brown, leopard and hot pink. With a zippered gusset panel down the front and back center and two rolled handles accented with gold bands, the Mandah was the perfect hobo and the suede/leather combo made it great for any season.

2. YSL Easy Studded Y Bag
Any bag that can distract AWAY from Lady Gaga’s outfits HAD to make the list. The YSL Easy Studded Y Bag was a fave of Gaga, Adrienne Bailon and many other celebs. YSL bags are typically very understated and simple but even they got in on the 2009 studs trend and executed it perfectly. The result was a fabulous duffel bag that we couldn’t take our eyes off of. And that’s no easy feat when you’re in the hands of Lady Gaga.

3. Alexander Wang Coco Duffel
Alexander Wang was the designer of the moment this year. With easy, cool separates and accessories, and a celebrity following led by Rihanna, Mary-Kate Olsen and Amber Rose, it was easy to add Wang to the list. The Alexander Wang Coco Duffel was one of this year’s edgiest bags, with tough leather and even tougher bullet studs on the bottom. The exclusive blue denim version was to-die-for and the grey and tan versions were nice too.

4. Kooba Alex Tote
I’m a bit biased since I own and love this bag, but the Kooba Alex Tote was a must-have this year. The rich aubergine glazed leather was ever-so-slightly distressed, giving it a vintage vibe, while the mini studs gave it modern appeal. The shape was just right – not too big, not too small, and had Kooba’s signature unstructured, ’sling it over the shoulder and go’ feel.

5. Alexander McQueen Faithful Glove Clutch
The Alexander McQueen Faithful Glove Clutch may not have been directly related to the late Michael Jackson but it certainly paid homage to him and his iconic style. The luxe leather clutch featured a detachable fingerless glove on the front, with slanted zippers on either side. We’re sure the King of Pop would have approved.

6. Chloé Paraty Python Tote
This. Bag. Is. Amazing! There’s not much more that needs to be said. With a brilliant design and luxurious python, Chloé really redeemed itself with the Paraty Toteicon. We haven’t been this excited about Chloé since the Paddington!

7. Valentino Shining Flower Tux 360 Tote
If it was on Gossip Girl, it had to be good. The Valentino Shining Flower Tux 360 Toteicon made its debut on the show with Blair Waldorf drooling over it and women all over the world followed suit. Following in the footsteps of Valentino’s couture creations, the 360 is what you could call a couture handbag. Rows of black sequins, cream-colored ‘petals’, crystals and a large bow are everything you’d expect from the design house, but wrapped up onto one pretty bag.

8. Rebecca Minkoff Stud Devote Belted Tote
Studded bags were BIG this year and who better to create one than Rebecca Minkoff? The Stud Devote Belted Tote reached instant cult handbag status with its wide, belted and buckled main opening and rows of studs around the top and bottom bands. The edgy bag incorporated Minkoff’s signature California cool with the hot stud trend.

9. Novella Royale Mister Studded Tote
Green is the new black, or haven’t you heard? Novella Royale debuted the hottest in green (eco-friendly) bags this year and our fave was their Mister Studded Tote. This handmade bag is made of recycled leather from motorcycle jackets (so no two are the same), and the oversized resin studs made it look brand spanking new!

Forget gold, silver and even copper – let’s hear it for the far too unappreciated champagne, instead. This Jimmy Choo Ubai Clutch positively dazzles in radiant, shimmery metallic leather that seems to shine for miles. Pair it with the simplest evening dress in your closet for maximum impact. It’s the kind of handbag that really deserves to stand out on its own. The logo plaque blends rather quietly into the background, so it’s barely visible against the vibrant leather. What’s a party without a little bubbly, right? Available for 5 at Nordstrom.

We all know Jessica Simpson loves her Louis Vuitton handbags – especially when she’s hitting the gym – but this monogram and leopard-print purse really pops. The rest of Jessica’s outfit is obviously much more winter-centric than glam, but I think the ensemble toes the line between cozy and chic.

I guess I don’t have to say much about this hot Arena Giant Mid Day of Balenciaga.

This bag is very practical and always looking good. The bag is made from wrinkled lambskin leather with top zip closure, fabric lining with interior zipped pockets, also featuring rolled leather handles and front zipper pocket and nickel hardware.

alexanderwang_slouchy_leather_shoulder_bag.jpgalexanderwang_slouchybag_model.jpg

This could be such a cool bag if it wasn’t so poorly made. I love giant slouchy hobos, you get so much coverage on your body that is makes an instant statement. The double sided black and demin is not only great for versatility but the peek-a-boo effect when you’ve got it on makes people very curious. The textured leather just looks so cheap to me and whenever you have a totally plain bag, the quality or in this case, lack thereof, really shows through. I am intrigued but disappointed. Someone will do this better I’m sure! At Net-a-Porter for 0.
