With its elegant look and reasonable design, this mini bag serves the function of daily handbag and can also serves as a banquet handbag.
When people see this bag they might worry that its strong line will weaken the feminine look, but the fact is to the contrary, it not only shows unique personality but also shows the elegant taste of the carrier. Definitely a classic piece.
The one shown in the picture is Black Niloticus Crocodile Kelly Pochette in Shinny Finish with Palladium Hardware. You can find the one that pops into your mind on handbagsoutlet.biz as they’ve got other color choices as well.

I first came across the Givenchy Studded Tote Bag (7) that Rihanna is sporting in the photo above at Maendler when I was in Munich a few weeks ago and I nearly bought it. I’m so glad I didn’t! What stopped me from getting it at the time (well aside from studs being completely over-played), was that it’s made out of fabric (the lining isn’t leather either), so while it looks chic, up-close it appears fairly cheaply made. Of course compared to the Western-esque awfulness that many of the other Givenchy bags have displayed lately, this bag is a stunner (not that, that is saying much!). Hard to believe that a brand that has delivered so consistently is beginning to sour a bit. All that aside, I’ve been seeing this bag all over the place lately — both in boutiques and on people’s arms. One of the reasons I buy a lot of my bags abroad when I go visit my family is because you’re often able to get styles that aren’t widely available state-side, I had no idea I would come back to NYC and see so many women with this style in FW tents!

It’s no surprise, given Christopher Bailey’s decree that his Burberry “Cadet Girls” follow the ideals of “Protect, Explore & Inspire,” that his fall collection of bags lean toward a harder edge. Witness Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts, who sported one such piece–an alligator Cadet Sling bag–as she arrived at the show Tuesday. A quick review of the press notes reveal such adjectives as “armor,” “riveted” and “lockable” used to describe the fall bag collection. Aside from one oversized hobo shape (called the “Parade”), the Burberry focus bag this upcoming season is more grounded and body-skimming; it features a top handle as well as an over-arching, not to mention removable, shoulder strap but can also be carried easily as a clutch. Think of it as a three-in-one perhaps? Naturally, it’s available in a glorious variety of skins, colors, patterns and fabrications–ranging from denim and python with dome-shaped nail heads to shearling with oversized Nova check. Personally, it’s a shape I’m still getting used to. My initial impression is that these bags aren’t going to fit much–they measure roughly 15.4″ x 7.1″–and tend to lean more toward evening or weekend. And they’re awfully structured. I miss the large, super chic totes and holdalls Burberry showed on its runways in seasons past, but perhaps it’s time for a change. Carrying everything but your kitchen sink in your bag does seem a bit passé.

This BParis shoulder bag from Faith is a smooth looking classic clutch, with a nice bit of detail reminiscent of some of the Fiorelli bags. The black and chain strap gives it pickupability, or you can just pop the…

Pint-sized princess Eva Longoria certainly picked up some handbag pointers from her pal Victoria Beckham. The actress accessorized her cute pale pink top, sweater and jeans outfit with a beautiful blue Hermes Birkin purse, one of Beckham’s faves. I love the way the rich blue contrasts with the dusty pink. So much for being “desperate.”

I am woman, hear me roar! Rihanna strolled through airport security in style with giant shades, a gray hoodie, black jeans, a bomber jacket and — what’s this — an eye-catching Maia N Bowling Bag in a wild animal print. Because the rest of Rihanna’s outfit is print-free, this ferocious purse adds a nice little zing and a dash of personality. And props for giving some love to a lesser-known label.

Nothing wrong with tooting your own horn! Just ask designer Stella McCartney, who stepped out toting her very own Stella McCartney Falabella City Chain Tote. I’m guessing she got a good discount. The faux leather handbag is sure to appeal to any trend-setting animal lover, and it’s nice to see vegans get some chic designer options (finally!).
